Jamnea Jacas-Finlayson, JF Gallery owner / artist and Joseph Pubillones, interior designer / art collector, will join us to discuss some of the Cuban American artists they most admire, as well as their experiences as gallery owner / art collector.
Jamnea Jacas-Finlayson presented works by Wilfredo Lam and also photographer Maria Martinez-Canas who is a Cuban-born, Miami-based artist, who herself was inspired by Wilfedo Lam
Joseph Pubillones, an award-winning Cuban-American interior designer who studied architecture in the US and Europe, has his design studio in Palm Beach. He brings us the perspective of a passionate collector of works of art from Cuban and Cuban-American artists. He will discuss Art as Biography and Collection as Biography. His years of living in Paris, Rome, Florence, Miami and Montreal allow him to bring interiors with a cosmopolitan flair to his client's homes.
