Lisette Cedano, a Cuban American artist who teaches at the Armory. She has taken the traditional processes of portraiture, sculpting and weaving and has created many nontraditional pieces of work. Her artwork is a connecting line of color, texture, body, and spirit. Her intent is to create bodies of work that reflect her connection to her culture, a legacy of timeless universal encounters that seamlessly ties each and everyone together.
