''''MAKING SOCIAL MEDIA WORK FOR ARTISTS''''

Social Media platforms like Facebook have become extremely important self-promotion and research tool for artists, but they sure can be confusing.

You won’t want to miss this opportunity to join with marketing communications consultant Jenifer Mangione Vogt, this coming Tuesday, when she returns to Art Salon to help us understand the most popular Social Media platforms and how to safely use them to our full advantage.

In this action oriented, interactive session, Jennifer will provide a primer on what the different platforms are best for, how to set up and optimize accounts, and how to effectively use the platforms to learn about trends in the art world as well as for self-promotion.

The presentation will be followed by a Q&A and discussion during which artists are invited to ask questions about how social media directly relates to their own work, and to review their accounts. Attendees are encouraged to bring their laptops and tablets, and will be able to access the internet through the Armory Arts Center WiFi network.
