We came, we looked, we each curated our own personal collection of favorite Art Fair works of art. Some of us had our own work on display as well. There was so much to see during Art Basel Week, and each of us was drawn to different works. Katie Deits, Gerri Aurre, Louis Davis, Dana Donaty, and Elle Schorr responded to an invitation to share highlights and trends in what they saw at the 2013 Art Basel and the many art fairs.

Each found connections to our own work, or inspirations for new directions, new techniques, new materials, new ideas. Some of us found "proof" that the art world is a sham filled with useless glitz and fluff. One thing is for sure - no one saw it all.
