JUST PUBLISHED!: An article about Anthony and Trina in the PALM BEACH ARTSPAPER.

Anthony and Trina Slade Burks have produced and curated many art exhibitions in Palm Beach County, including the recent “Collaboration: The African Diaspora" at the Armory Art Center. They are now planning "Continuum" one of the satellite exhibitions of Art Synergy, in conjunction with ArtPalmBeach 2014. They work together at A.T.B. Fine Artists & Designers LLC, providing image building services for artists and companies.

Anthony Burks Sr., a native Floridian, is a uniquely prolific conceptual fine and commercial artist. He works in numerous forms of media, including pen & ink, pastels, watercolor and color pencil. Trina Slade Burks is an artist, writer, curator and art educator. Together, they have been active in promoting many kinds of opportunities for artists throughout Palm Beach County.

Anthony has exhibited his artwork at many galleries, museums and events, such as a Solo Show at the Cornell Museum at Old School Square, (where one of his paintings, “ Freedom” is in the permanent collection), The Historic Jenkins House, the Palm Beach County Governor's Club, Ann Norton Sculpture Garden, The Palm Beach County Cultural Council's first juried Art Exhibition, Palm Beach Gardens City Hall solo and two person shows, Artigras, Clay Glass Metal Stone Gallery, A Gathering of Kuumba at Old School Square, Art Africa, Nubian Art Gallery, Eg2 Gallery Group & 101 Gallery.

Trina exhibits her art under the name Diz-E Image. She has self published 5 books, some Trina’s writing and some collaborations, on art and poetry, affirmations, family recipes, and the work of nine African American writers for the African Diaspora exhibition. She has been teaching everything from art to cooking since 1990, working in at risk communities thru Children's Coalition, Artists Showcase of the Palm Beaches & Center for Creative Education, as well as at the Armory Art Center & Palm Beach Gardens City Hall.
Trina and Anthony were Steering Committee Members/Founding Members/Board members of Artists of Palm Beach County.

Trina also has a food product line under the name Diz-E Delites, and a company she founded with a friend called Afro Boy, which produced a blog & online radio show, emphasizing Hip Hop, R&B & Rock & Roll and art topics. A.T.B is the branding & merchandise manager of the company, and of Trina’s books.
